Job Title: Manager /Senior Manager – Procurement ,Commercial & Contract Management Experience: 12–15 Years relevant experience CTC: as per industry standard Department: Commercial / Procurement Location: Kolkata Qualification :BE /B Tech -Mechanical /Electrical/Civil Job Summary We are looking for an experienced candidate with a solid commercial background to manage procurement, commercial operations, contract management, vendor negotiations, and logistics coordination. The candidate should have expertise in handling commercial purchase activities, cost negotiations, contract finalization, and ensuring smooth procurement operations while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance. Techno-Commercially sound, preferably from Mechanical/Electrical/Civil background with sound knowledge of Mechanical /Electrical equipment procurement, civil contracts, civil workorder finalization etc.

Key Responsibilities - Handle commercial procurement and purchase activities including sourcing, vendor management, and purchase finalization.
Lead commercial negotiations related to pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, penalties, taxes, and contractual terms.
Manage and review contracts, purchase agreements, work orders,



and commercial documentation and billing schedule.
Ensure proper coordination for logistics, transportation, dispatch, and material movement.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors/suppliers for strategic sourcing and cost optimization.
Analyze quotations, prepare comparative statements, and finalize vendors based on commercial viability.
Coordinate with finance, operations, stores, and project teams for seamless procurement execution.
Monitor procurement budgets and identify opportunities for cost reduction and commercial improvement.
Ensure compliance with statutory, taxation, and commercial procurement guidelines.
Handle dispute resolution with vendors related to commercial and contractual matters.

Preferred Candidate Profile: The role demands solid techno-commercial acumen pre-bid management, tendering, commercial negotiations, contract management, and project execution.
12–15 years of experience, primarily from a commercial background
Experience in engineering/manufacturing/EPC/heavy industry preferred
Solid negotiation and stakeholder management skills
