About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Dispatch Officer to set up and manage dispatch operations for our new ethanol facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with depot operations, strong connections with depot managers and oil companies, and a proven track record in the ethanol or related sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and oversee dispatch protocols for the greenfield project.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with depot managers, transporters, and oil industry stakeholders.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor ethanol dispatch operations to various depots and oil companies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory guidelines, and company policies for all dispatch activities.
- Supervise transport schedules, vehicle availability, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation: challans, invoices, delivery notes, and other records.
- Coordinate with internal teams (production, sales, logistics) for productive and timely dispatches.
- Address any operational issues swiftly, especially in the context of a new project setup.
- Keep records of contracts, transportation agreements, and rates.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in dispatch/logistics in the ethanol, petroleum,
or allied industry.
- Solid network and prior engagement with depot managers and oil companies.
- Strong knowledge of industry norms for newly established (greenfield) projects.
- Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight schedules.
