Role overview

We are seeking a motivated Game Designer Intern to join our design and development teams in South Delhi. You will translate creative concepts into engaging and well-balanced gameplay experiences — designing systems, mechanics, and levels that align with the overall creative vision of the project. This is a hands-on role where your ideas directly shape real production titles.

Key responsibilities

Game design & documentation

- Design and document gameplay systems, mechanics, loops, and progression structures.
- Develop engaging levels, missions, and challenges aligned with the narrative and core mechanics.
- Create and maintain comprehensive Game Design Documents (GDDs), flowcharts, and wireframes.

Collaboration & implementation

- Work closely with developers, artists, and producers to bring designs into implementation.
- Ensure designs are well-optimized, balanced,



and consistent with the project's vision.
- Participate in cross-functional brainstorming sessions for current features and concepts.

Analysis & iteration

- Analyze playtest data and user feedback to continuously enhance the player experience.
- Adjust gameplay balance, pacing, and difficulty based on testing insights.
- Align gameplay with narrative tone, player psychology, and engagement objectives

Required skills & qualifications

- Game systems and mechanics design.
- Level design and player progression.
- Game economy balancing and retention strategy.
- UI/UX flow mapping and gameplay documentation.
- AI in game design and player behavior analysis.
- Strong creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with console and mobile game design.
- Passion for gaming and industry trends
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.

Selection process





- Design assignment

A short game design challenge to assess creativity, design thinking, and problem-solving ability.

2. Final interview

Discussion with Founders and Design Leads focused on design thinking, collaboration, and game sense.

Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) opportunity

- All interns receive a Letter of Recommendation (LOR) and an Internship Completion Certificate upon successful completion.
- Outstanding performers will be considered for a Pre-Placement Offer based on performance and role alignment.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 per month
