Job Description: Junior Accountant

Reporting To: Accounts Manager

Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and disciplined Junior Accountant to support the Accounts Manager in day-to-day accounting operations, compliance, and financial record management. The candidate should have strong fundamentals in accounting principles and hands-on experience in Tally.

Key Responsibilities:

a) Assisting in day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping.

b) Processing sales and purchase invoices in Tally with accuracy.

c) Maintaining and updating accounts payable and accounts receivable records.

d) Assisting in GST data preparation, TDS workings, and other statutory compliance documentation.

e) Performing bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations regularly.

f) Supporting preparation of financial statements, P&L;, balance sheet, and MIS reports.

g) Maintaining proper documentation and filing of vouchers, bills, and financial records.

h) Coordinating with internal departments for billing, payments, and documentation.

Assisting in payroll data preparation and expense verification.

j) Supporting audit processes by preparing required data and documentation.

Required Skills:

- Good knowledge of Tally (Mandatory)
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good coordination and follow-up skills

Experience:

2–4 years of experience in accounting preferred.
