Job Title: Electrician – Electrical Projects at Madurai Airport

Candidate Preference: Local candidates from Madurai or nearby regions (e.g., Sivaganga, Dindigul, Theni, Virudhunagar) preferred.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our electrical projects team at Madurai Airport. The role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems as part of ongoing airport development and maintenance projects. Candidates must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a agile airport environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation, wiring, and commissioning of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, cabling, and control panels.
- Maintenance and repair of existing electrical infrastructure at the airport.
- Troubleshooting electrical faults and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Ensuring all work complies with safety standards, airport regulations, and relevant electrical codes (ISI/IEC standards).
- Coordination with project supervisors and other trades for smooth project execution.
- Preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
- Maintaining proper documentation of work completed.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience as an Electrician in industrial/commercial projects (airport or large infrastructure projects preferred).
- Education:



ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent certification. Valid Wireman / Electrical Supervisor license is an added advantage.
- Languages:
- Must be fluent in English and Hindi.
- Tamil proficiency is highly preferred.
- Mobility: Must own a Two-Wheeler with a valid driving license (essential for commuting within the airport premises and nearby areas).
- Willingness to work in shifts, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as per project requirements.
- Local candidates or those willing to relocate nearby Madurai preferred.

Skills Required

- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, and airport-specific electrical works.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces safely.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols (PPE usage, lockout-tagout, etc.).
