Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Associate - Accounts based in Nainital.

The Senior

Associate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and compliance with accounting standards.



Other key responsibilities include preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, assisting with audit processes, and ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions. The role also involves liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide accurate financial information and support decision-making processes.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and audit processes
- Experience with general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliation
- Solid analytical skills and proficiency in financial data interpretation
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications such as CA Inter or CMA are a plus
- Prior experience in the hospitality or service industry is an advantage
