Senior Accountant – GST, TDS & Bookkeeping

What We Are Looking For

- 4 – 8 years of hands-on experience in accounting, bookkeeping, GST, and TDS compliance.
- Strong practical experience with Zoho Books, Quick Books, Xero, Tally, or similar accounting software.
- Good experience in GST filings, reconciliation, returns, and accounting compliance activities.
- Strong hands-on experience with TDS deductions, filings, reconciliations, and related compliance.
- Experience managing journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, bank reconciliation, P&L;, and balance sheet activities.
- Hands-on experience in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting closures.
- Positive understanding of invoicing, bookkeeping, vendor payments, and accounting workflows.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage accounting operations in remote or hybrid work environments.

Responsibilities





- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations.
- Handle GST filings, reconciliations, returns, and compliance activities.
- Manage TDS calculations, deductions, filings, and documentation.
- Prepare journal vouchers, ledgers, trial balance, P&L; statements, and balance sheets.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accounting records accurately.
- Handle invoicing, payment tracking, vendor accounting, and expense management.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing activities.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for compliance and reporting.
- Ensure timely accounting operations, compliance, and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong hands-on accounting and bookkeeping experience.
- Experience with Zoho Books, Quick Books, Xero, Tally, or similar accounting tools is preferred.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, accounting workflows, and financial reporting.
- Prior experience in IT / ITES / SaaS / Software companies is preferred.
