Mission

We are looking for an Lead Architect to provide guidance on hybrid Cloud + Edge IoT architecture, application and data design, ensuring scalable solutions across 100 sites. This professional will Lead CI/CD, IaC, and reliable deployments while acting as the key technical interface across teams, contributing hands-on to coding alongside architecture and DevOps.

Key Responsibilities and Skillset

- Robust hands-on development expertise in .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and C#, consistently delivering production-quality code, supported by experience with Entity Framework Core and PostgreSQL.
- Advanced application and data architecture skills, including service-oriented architecture, microservices patterns, domain-driven design, and data model design across relational (PostgreSQL), event-driven, and time-series paradigms.
- Deep cloud and infrastructure expertise on AWS, leveraging services such as EKS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, CloudFront, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch, alongside Terraform for infrastructure-as-code across both cloud and edge environments.
- Containerization and distributed systems expertise, including Kubernetes (EKS and EKS Anywhere for edge deployments), Docker, Kafka (MSK), Debezium, and hybrid architecture patterns (edge-to-cloud synchronization, intermittent connectivity handling, deployment at scale).
- Robust DevOps and performance engineering capabilities, using GitHub, GitHub Actions, YAML-based CI/CD pipelines, and application performance monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, InfluxDB) to ensure reliability across cloud and edge deployments.
- Modern engineering practices and collaboration, including daily use of AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot or equivalent), AI-assisted code review, AI-driven testing and documentation generation, strong technical documentation skills, and experience working in distributed, international,



remote-first teams within governance-driven environments.

Preferred / Ideal Experience

- Experience with OPC/IoT technologies, including OPC UA, OPC Publisher, and industrial data ingestion.
- Exposure to MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and manufacturing-focused solution delivery.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs, including OEE/GE, material tracking, energy monitoring, quality management, and asset condition monitoring.
- Proven experience managing multi-site deployments and large-scale rollouts across numerous locations.
- Expertise in time-series data handling using InfluxDB across edge and cloud environments, along with identity management solutions such as Keycloak.
- Experience supporting operations teams and coordinating production releases at scale.
