Job Description
Assistant Manager – Extrusion Press Mechanical Maintenance is responsible for ensuring smooth operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of extrusion press machinery and associated equipment. The role focuses on maximizing equipment uptime, improving reliability, and ensuring safe and effective plant operations.
Principal Accountabilities
Execute comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance plans for extrusion press equipment to ensure optimal performancebr Attend to and resolve mechanical breakdowns swiftly to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiencybr Monitor and maintain hydraulic pneumatic lubrication and cooling systems of extrusion presses to ensure smooth operationsbr Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors during repair activities ensuring adherence to safety and quality standardsbr Analyze recurring equipment failures identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrencesbr Ensure the availability of critical spares and maintenance consumables to support uninterrupted maintenance activitiesbr Coordinate with production teams to plan and execute maintenance schedules and shutdowns effectivelybr Maintain detailed maintenance records reports a
