We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Key Account Manager (KAM) to manage key client accounts and ensure smooth execution of customs clearance and CHA operations. The candidate will be responsible for handling import/export documentation, coordinating shipment clearances, and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with customs regulations and EXIM policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain relationships with key clients.
- Handle customs clearance and CHA operations for import/export shipments.
- Verify and process shipping and customs documentation including BOE, BL, and invoices.
- Coordinate with customs authorities, transporters, shipping lines, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with EXIM policies, DGFT regulations, and HS code classifications.
- Provide timely shipment updates and resolve operational or client-related issues.
- Prepare DSR/MIS reports and maintain accurate operational records.
Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of customs documentation and CHA operations.
- Experience in EDI filing and customs clearance procedures.
- Good understanding of EXIM policy, DGFT guidelines, and HS codes.
- Excellent communication and client management skills
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in customs clearance, CHA operations, logistics, or key account management.
- Experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry preferred.
