Job Summary
We are looking for a highly analytical and data-driven HR Data Analytics skilled to lead workforce data management, HR analytics, reporting automation, and strategic people insights.
This is a critical role supporting senior HR leadership and business leadership through advanced workforce analytics, headcount planning, data governance, attrition intelligence, and executive-level reporting.
The ideal candidate should possess exceptional expertise in handling large and complex HR datasets, building scalable reporting models, identifying workforce trends, and translating data into actionable business insights. The role requires a strong balance of analytics capability, business understanding, stakeholder management, and data accuracy.
This position will work closely with HR Leadership, Finance, Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, Payroll, and Business Leaders globally.
Key Responsibilities
1. Workforce Data Management & Governance
- Own and manage end-to-end HR data governance across global employee databases
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, consistency, and standardization of workforce data across systems
- Manage large-scale employee datasets involving headcount, movements, compensation, attrition, and organizational structures
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, reporting gaps, and process inefficiencies
- Drive data validation and audit mechanisms for HR reporting
2. HR Analytics & Workforce Intelligence
- Lead global workforce analytics including headcount trends, span analysis, organizational metrics, productivity insights, and attrition analytics
- Develop predictive and trend-based workforce insights to support leadership decision-making
- Analyze employee movement patterns, retention risks, hiring trends, and workforce cost impact
- Partner with HR leadership in strategic workforce planning and forecasting exercises
- Generate executive-level insights and presentations for leadership reviews
3. Dashboarding, Automation & Reporting
- Design and manage advanced HR dashboards and reporting frameworks
- Build automated MIS reports and workforce analytics solutions using Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools
- Create scalable reporting models for monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual reporting effort and improve reporting efficiency
- Deliver high-quality ad-hoc analytics with quick turnaround time for leadership requests
4. Strategic Business Partnering
- Work closely with HRBPs, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Payroll, and Business Leaders globally
- Support annual budgeting, workforce planning, and organizational restructuring analysis
- Provide analytical support for compensation reviews, retention programs, productivity tracking, and leadership reporting
- Translate complex workforce data into meaningful business narratives and recommendations
5. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Continuously improve HR reporting frameworks, data architecture, and analytics capability
- Standardize HR metrics, definitions, and reporting methodologies globally
- Recommend best practices in workforce analytics and HR data management
- Support implementation and optimization of HR systems and reporting tools
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or related field
- 8–12 years of experience in HR Analytics / Workforce Analytics / HR MIS / People Analytics / Data Management
- Solid expertise in handling large and complex datasets with high accuracy
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, dashboards, automation)
- Robust experience in Power BI or similar visualization/reporting tools
- Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working in global organizations and matrix environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HRMS platforms such as Workday, SuccessFactors, Darwinbox, Oracle HCM, or similar systems
- Exposure to workforce planning, compensation analytics, and budgeting support
- Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, or reporting automation tools will be an added advantage
- Experience supporting executive leadership reporting and strategic HR initiatives
