Assistant Professor -Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)

The Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering will engage in high-quality teaching, research, and academic advising. The role involves delivering undergraduate/graduate courses, contributing to curriculum development, publishing scholarly work, and supporting departmental activities.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Instruction

- Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in core and elective areas of CSE (e.g., Data Structures, Algorithms, DBMS, Operating Systems, AI/ML, Networks, Cloud Computing).
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, lab exercises, and assessments.
- Use modern pedagogical tools and learning management systems.
- Guide students in projects, seminars, internships, and technical competitions.

Research & Publications

- Conduct independent and collaborative research in relevant areas of CSE.
- Publish in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Apply for research grants and participate in funded projects.
- Supervise undergraduate/postgraduate research work.

Academic Administration & Service

- Participate in departmental committees, accreditation work (NAAC/NBA/ABET),



and institutional events.
- Contribute to curriculum review and development.
- Assist in student mentoring, academic advising, and career guidance.
- Help organize workshops, FDPs, hackathons, and technical events.

Industry & Community Engagement

- Build collaborations with industry, research labs, and other academic institutions.
- Facilitate internships, industrial visits, and skill-based training programs.
- Engage in community outreach and extension activities.

Qualification

- Ph.D. in CSE (Thesis Submitted).
- Research publications in reputed journals/conferences.
- Experience with contemporary technologies (AI/ML, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud, IoT, etc.).
- Prior teaching or industry experience.

Skills & Competencies

- Strong programming skills (C/C++, Java, Python, etc.)
- Knowledge of modern tools/technologies (Git, Docker, AWS/Azure/GCP, TensorFlow, etc.)
- Ability to conduct impactful research.
- Student-centric teaching approach.
- Teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning mindset.
