We are now expanding our portfolio to include Sulzer make pumps and are looking for a driven Sales Engineer to spearhead this growth.

Role Overview
As Sales Engineer, you will own the end-to-end sales cycle for Sulzer pumps and PSG Dover / Blackmer pumps & compressors across Gujarat and Maharashtra. You will work directly with plant procurement
and maintenance teams at refineries, petrochemical units, and process plants identifying needs, preparing techno-commercial proposals, and closing orders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage a sales pipeline for Sulzer pumps, Blackmer compressors, Neptune, and Wilden pumps across Gujarat and Maharashtra Identify and target end-user accounts in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Water & Wastewater, and EPC sectors and engage with them.
Prepare and present techno-commercial offers including pump selection, datasheets, and competitive pricing





Coordinate with OEM principals (Sulzer India, PSG Dover India) for product availability, technical support, and pricing

Follow up on quotations and negotiate terms to achieve order closure
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly order booking targets
Register Meraki Engineers as an approved vendor at key industrial accounts Maintain accurate records of leads, visits, and opportunities (CRM/reporting) Provide post-sales support coordination including delivery, spare parts follow-up Requirements

Education & Experience

B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred) 4 to 7 years of experience in industrial pump or rotating equipment sales
Demonstrated track record of order booking and client relationship management

Technical Knowledge

Good understanding of centrifugal pumps, screw pumps, diaphragm pumps, reciprocating pumps, and compressors

Ability to read and interpret P&IDs;, datasheets, and technical specifications Familiarity with pump selection, hydraulic calculations, and application engineering Knowledge of industrial processes in Refinery, Oil & Gas, or Petrochemical plants Industry & Market Knowledge

Experience dealing with plant maintenance, reliability, and procurement teams Existing network of contacts at industrial plants in Gujarat and/or Maharashtra is a significant advantage





Familiarity with brands such as Sulzer, Flowserve, KSB, Grundfos, or Alfa Laval preferred
Soft Skills & Attributes

Self-motivated with a hunter mindset ability to work independently in a startup environment Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi (Gujarati is a plus) Willingness to travel extensively within Gujarat and Maharashtra High integrity, accountability, and customer-first attitude aligned with Meraki values
