An SAP FICO Consultant is responsible for implementing and supporting SAP’s Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, helping organizations manage financial transactions, reporting, and internal cost control.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules
- Work with business teams to gather financial and accounting requirements
- Configure key areas like:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
- Perform financial closing activities and support audits
- Integrate FICO with other modules:
- MM (Procurement)
- SD (Sales)
- Prepare reports:
- Financial statements
- Profit & Loss (P&L;)
- Balance sheets
- Handle testing (UAT), issue resolution, and support
- Assist in SAP implementation, migration, and upgrades
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP)
