Senior Interior Designer – Execution & Project Coordination

About the Role

We are looking for a highly responsible and execution-oriented Senior Interior Designer who can independently manage commercial and residential interior projects from design coordination to site execution and final handover.

The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, project management skills, client handling abilities, vendor coordination skills, and on-site problem-solving capabilities to ensure timely and quality project completion.

Key Responsibilities

1. BOQ Preparation & Estimation

* Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for interior projects

* Coordinate with vendors and contractors for quotations and rate analysis

* Verify material specifications, quantities, and costing

* Assist in project budgeting and cost optimization

2. Site Handling & Execution

* Independently handle interior project sites from start to completion

* Ensure work execution as per approved drawings and design intent

* Monitor quality, timelines, workmanship, and finishing standards

* Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews

* Resolve on-site technical and execution issues efficiently

3. Billing & Documentation

* Prepare contractor bills, client billing sheets, and quantity verification reports

* Track project expenses and material consumption

* Maintain proper project documentation, reports, and site records

* Coordinate for timely approvals and billing submissions

4. Vendor & Contractor Coordination

* Coordinate with carpenters, electricians,



plumbers, fabricators, HVAC vendors, painters, civil contractors, and other agencies

* Follow up for timely material deliveries and execution schedules

* Ensure contractors maintain quality standards and deadlines

* Build strong vendor relationships for smooth project execution

5. Independent Client Handling

* Independently handle clients throughout the project lifecycle

* Conduct client meetings, site discussions, and review presentations

* Understand client requirements and communicate execution updates clearly

* Handle client queries, changes, and coordination professionally

* Ensure smooth communication between clients, design team, and execution team

* Maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction

6. Team Coordination

* Coordinate with the design team, project managers, and site staff

* Ensure smooth workflow between design and execution teams

* Support junior designers and site supervisors when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture

* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior project execution

* Strong knowledge of materials, finishes,



and site execution processes

* Experience in BOQ preparation and contractor billing

* Ability to independently handle clients and site execution

* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and basic project documentation

* Robust communication and coordination skills

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
