Department: Sales & Marketing
Role Objective
- To drive end-to-end sales, revenue, and collections across Karnataka
- To lead regional expansion for sports infrastructure project sales (2 Lakhs -1 Crore+)
- To build a high-performing sales team and robust market presence
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Own complete Karnataka region sales targets (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
- Drive B2B, B2C & B2G sales (schools, colleges, sports academies, builders, government projects)
- Generate business through field visits, cold calling, references, and channel partners
- Lead end-to-end sales cycle lead generation to closure
- Identify new opportunities and expand into Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities in Karnataka
Revenue & Collections
- Ensure timely collections and payment follow-ups
- Maintain strong control on outstanding payments and cash flow
- Coordinate with finance team for billing, invoicing, and reconciliation
Team Management
- Build, lead, and manage regional sales team (field + inside sales)
- Set targets, KPIs, and daily activity metrics
- Track team performance and ensure consistent target achievement
- Conduct weekly reviews, coaching, and training sessions
Client Relationship Management
- Develop strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers
- Handle high-value negotiations and deal closures
- Ensure client satisfaction, retention, and repeat business
Marketing & Lead Generation
- Work with marketing team on regional campaigns, events, and activations
- Drive local brand visibility and market penetration
- Explore partnerships with institutions and sports communities
CRM & Reporting
- Ensure complete usage of CRM tools for pipeline and lead tracking
- Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and MIS
- Share regular updates with leadership on performance and projections
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Project teams
- Ensure seamless project handover and execution alignment
- Manage client expectations on timelines and delivery
Key Requirements
- Experience in project sales / construction / infrastructure / sports infra
- Proven track record of achieving high-value sales targets
- Strong understanding of Karnataka market
- Experience in team handling and regional management
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills
- Kannada language is preferred
