KSPG Automotive India Private Limited is a part of global “Power Systems Division” of the Group its headquarter is located at Takwe, Tal Maval Dist. Pune in India, manufacturing multiple well known products viz. for IC Engine (passenger cars/trucks) like EGR, ETB, components for heat pumps and high-quality metallic plain bearings for vehicles and other industrial applications. The Division Power Systems in India has two manufacturing locations viz; Pune Takwe has Plant 1 manufacturing products for Thermal & Air Management, Plant 2 Bearings & Plant 3 at Supa (Ahmednagar), and is a leading supplier engine plain Bi-metal half bearings, flange bearings, thrust washers and bushes.

ROLE SUMMARY

The EXIM Officer will oversee shipment tracking through DSR, ensures compliance with customs processes and trade agreements, and drives on‑time delivery. The incumbent will also manage the logistics partners, optimize the freight costs, and maintain smooth end‑to‑end export‑import operations in supply chain function.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Customs Clearance of Air and Sea shipments for Imports and Export
- Follow up with Freight Forwarders for Sea and Air Shipments, Courier Shipments
- Preparing and monitoring of DSR , timely communication & escalation of changes in ETA
- Closely work with material planning teams and suppliers for timely pick ups
- Ensure timely completion of all service level agreements with Forwarders and transporters
- Liaise with CHA for documentations, shipment notification, BoE filling and amendments , resolving all queries raised by customs , technical write ups , end use certification etc.
- Monitor domestic air shipments for timely arrival in plant




- Coordinate with Excise team for checklist approvals , duties related topics
- To check the Bill of entry is filled as soon as IGM inward date is filled
- Compilation and timely submission of bills, provision to finance & accounts department
- On-time imported material delivery to Factory without demurrage, Penalties and interests etc
- To handle Re-import and Re-Export shipments
- To coordinate with cross functions for Insurance claim in case of the Damage shipment received
- Ensuring good standing of AEO certification
- Act as a EXIM expert and suggest possible usage of customs policies in cost reduction, duty exemption etc
- Monitoring of MIS with forwarders , CHA or service providers
- Shipment planning and execution
- HSN code proposal with CHA’s Inputs
- Ensure compliance to safe practices.
- Knowledge of engine automotive components (power train),
- Key responsible for department documentation of IATF 16949, EMS etc

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

- Strong awareness of HSN codes and classification.
- Effective control over Turnaround Time (TAT) for shipments.
- Expertise in customs processes for both imports and exports.
- In‑depth knowledge of customs schemes such as DPD, AEO, EPCG, and DGFT.
- Proficiency in Incoterms and international trade practices.
- Skilled in freight costing and optimization.
- Experience in forwarder service management and rate agreement processes.
- Solid written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of import-export policies and compliance frameworks.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION

- Education : Any Graduation
- Experience : 8-15 years in reputed, manufacturing MNC , preferred ( Auto Ancillary/ Auto Component)
- Certification : Certificate in Export–Import Management (EXIM) from IIFT/FIEO/DGFT-recognized institutes
