HomeExchange in India

We are launching our offline activities in India, starting with Goa — a flagship pilot destination chosen for its globally distinctive homes, vibrant lifestyle communities, and strong international travel appeal. Our ambition is to build a high-quality, community-driven supply base of premium homes that will become the showcase for India on the global HomeExchange platform.

The Role

We are looking for a Local Growth & Community Builder based in Goa to spearhead our supply acquisition pilot on the ground. This is a hybrid growth and community-building role with a strong commercial mindset.

You will be the face of HomeExchange in Goa: opening doors, building trust with premium homeowners, leveraging your local network, and converting them into founding members of the community in Goa. You will work closely with the Growth Marketing Manager and the central team based in Paris, France.

Your Mission





Sales & supply acquisition

- Identify, qualify, and convert premium homeowners in Goa into fully-listed HomeExchange members.
- Lead 1:1 outreach and sales conversations with high-value targets: Airbnb hosts, heritage homeowners, design-led villa owners, and lifestyle-driven hosts.
- Reframe HomeExchange as a lifestyle upgrade vs. a transactional rental — you sell reciprocity, community, and travel in return.

Community building & local activation

- Plan and run curated meetups and intimate events
- Activate existing HomeExchange members in Goa: re-engage them, position them as founding members, and unlock a referral loop within their networks.
- Design and run a founding host referral program with the central team.
- Be the local point of contact for new members: onboarding moments, WhatsApp group animation, first-exchange activation.

Partnerships & local growth hacks

- Identify and activate 2–3 strategic local partnerships per month (design communities, heritage trusts, wellness and lifestyle venues, NRI networks, etc.).
- Tap into Goa-specific networks and creator circles — home/lifestyle creators, architecture and design communities, Portuguese heritage networks.




- Run organic seeding in relevant communities (NRI Facebook groups, Reddit, WhatsApp circles) — authentic, not advertorial.

Who You Are

- Natural connector: extrovert, warm, persuasive — comfortable being the public face of a brand.
- Based in Goa, with a robust, well-established local network — you know the right people, the right venues, and the local hacks.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry (boutique hotels, villas, vacation rentals, Airbnb hosting/management, travel concierge, or similar) — you understand homeowners and how they think.
- Proven experience in event management and/or community building — you have run meetups, gatherings, or community programs from idea to execution.
- Commercial DNA: you are comfortable selling, negotiating, closing, and following up relentlessly. You enjoy the chase.
- Autonomous and proactive: you don’t wait for instructions; you take ownership of outcomes.
- Active or past HomeExchange member is a plus.

Engagement Conditions

- Status: Freelance contract.
- Duration and compensation: to be defined based on profile, scope, and pilot phasing — open to discussion.
- Time commitment: significant focus on the pilot is expected (estimated range to be aligned). Some weeks will be more intense due to events and outreach pushes.
- Flexibility: flexible hours, with evening/weekend availability required for meetups and host conversations.
- Location: must be based in Goa, with field presence
- Start date: as soon as possible (Q3 2026).
