Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced **Business Development Manager – SAP & Odoo ERP** based in **Ahmedabad** to lead business growth across **West India**. The role will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing enterprise and mid-market prospects, building a strong sales pipeline, driving ERP solution sales, and achieving revenue targets for SAP and Odoo ERP solutions.

The candidate should have strong B2B technology sales experience, preferably in ERP, IT services, SaaS, cloud, or enterprise applications. The role requires consultative selling, territory development, account management, proposal ownership, commercial negotiation, and coordination with presales and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Own business development and revenue growth for **SAP and Odoo ERP solutions** across West India.

* Develop and execute territory sales plans for Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and nearby markets.

* Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in SME, mid-market, and enterprise accounts.

* Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through direct outreach, referrals, partner ecosystem, industry events, webinars, campaigns, and networking.

* Engage CXOs, business owners, CFOs, CIOs, IT heads, finance heads, operations heads, and functional leaders.

* Lead discovery discussions to understand business processes, pain points, digital transformation needs, ERP maturity, budgets, timelines, and decision-making structure.

* Position SAP and Odoo ERP solutions based on customer size, complexity, industry, budget, and long-term growth plans.

* Work closely with presales and solution consultants for demonstrations, solution fitment, scope definition, proposal preparation, and effort estimation.

* Own proposal submissions, commercial discussions, negotiations, contract closure, and handover to delivery team.





* Build solid relationships with prospects, customers, partners, industry associations, and technology ecosystem stakeholders.

* Track competitor activity, pricing trends, market opportunities, and customer buying behavior in ERP and digital transformation space.

* Maintain CRM discipline, sales forecast, pipeline reviews, opportunity updates, and management reporting.

* Support marketing initiatives including webinars, seminars, trade shows, customer events, and campaign follow-ups.

* Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, renewals, support services, AMS, cloud migration, integrations, analytics, and automation solutions.

* Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from sales to implementation and maintain customer satisfaction during early engagement phase.

* Achieve quarterly and annual revenue, pipeline, and customer acquisition targets.

Required Skills

* Strong experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, or solution sales.

* Prior exposure to ERP, SAP, Odoo, IT services, SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software sales.

* Good understanding of ERP business processes such as finance, sales, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, CRM, HR, reporting, and compliance.

* Ability to engage senior decision makers and conduct consultative business discussions.

* Strong negotiation, proposal management, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

* Ability to manage complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure.

* Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline.

* Good commercial understanding of implementation services, licensing, support, and recurring revenue models.

* Ability to work collaboratively with presales, delivery, marketing, finance, and management teams.

* Self-driven, target-oriented, mature,



and comfortable with regional travel across West India.

Preferred Qualifications

* 5–10 years of experience in ERP / IT solution sales, with proven revenue achievement.

* Experience selling SAP Business One, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business ByDesign, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle NetSuite, Zoho, TallyPrime, or similar ERP/business applications.

* Existing network among SMEs, mid-market and enterprise customers in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.

* Industry exposure to manufacturing, trading, distribution, pharma, chemicals, engineering, auto components, textiles, food processing, retail, and services.

* Familiarity with SAP/Odoo partner ecosystem and channel-led sales will be an advantage.

Travel Requirement

The role will be based in **Ahmedabad** and will require travel across **West India**, including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and nearby business hubs, for customer meetings, partner meetings, industry events, seminars, and business development activities.

Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience and market standards, with fixed salary plus performance-based incentives linked to revenue achievement, new customer acquisition, pipeline creation, collections, and strategic account development.
