ACCOUNT ASSISTANTS

Salary range; 18K to 25K

Job description:

Account Assistants -- work at Defence Factory manufacturing pistols, guns, launchers for Indian Armed forces.

Qualification and Experience --- BCom, MCom, Tally prime, 2 yrs to 5 yrs experience as Account Assistant in manufacturing / Engineering / Defence / Aerospace preferred.

Location --- Astr Defence Pvt Ltd, 4/2A Kadankoppa, Tq Kalghatgi, Karnataka – 581204 (15Km from Hubli City)

Company --- Astr Defence R&D; is a deep-tech defence manufacturing industry engaged in the indigenous design and development of advanced small arms, launchers, fire-control systems, and counter-UAV technologies for the Indian Armed Forces. Our focus is on rugged, mission-critical hardware engineered to military standards with high reliability, precision, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities

- Day to Day accounts maintaining in Tally, purchase bills, vouchers, journal entries, expense book.
- Reconcile general ledgers, accounts receivable and payables.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile GST returns with book of accounts.
- Prepare P & L monthly statements.
- Ensure compliance.
- Coordinate employee monthly payrolls.
- Co-ordinate and support statutory internal and tax audits.
- Prepare data and statements required for financial disclosures, government filings and other regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

- Basic to positive knowledge of Accounts.
- Tally Prime.




- Good documentation & MS Excel skills
- Strong coordination and follow-up ability
- High confidentiality & discipline mindset

Work Environment

- Defence R&D; & manufacturing setup
- Discipline-oriented & process-driven
- Rural plant location (bus facility provided from Hubli city to factory)
- Timings – 9am to 6.30pm (Monday to Saturday)Sunday holiday.
