About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to oversee full-function HR operations for our footwear manufacturing factory in Perambalur, Tamil Nadu, India.

This role will be responsible for recruitment, training, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, HR compliance, and factory workforce management. The ideal candidate should be familiar with local labor regulations in Tamil Nadu, understand factory HR practices, and be able to align local HR execution with group HR policies and business needs. Key Responsibilitie

Manage full-function HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, training, compensation and benefits, attendance, payroll coordination, performance management, and employee relations

.Ensure HR practices comply with Indian labor laws, Tamil Nadu local regulations, factory requirements, and company policies

.Support manpower planning and recruitment for direct labor, staff, supervisors, and key factory positions

.Maintain positive employee relations, handle grievances, disciplinary cases, shop-floor communication, and labor-related issues

.Implement group HR policies and localize HR procedures to fit factory operations and local legal requirements

.Work closely with factory leadership and department heads to support workforce stability, talent development, performance improvement, and employee engagement

.Plan and drive HR initiatives related to training, retention,



organization development, supervisor capability building, and factory culture

.Support audits, compliance reviews, HR data reporting, and continuous improvement of HR systems and processes Required Qualificatio

Solid experience in full-function HR management within a footwear, apparel, textile, leather goods, or other labor-intensive manufacturing industries workplace

Familiar with Indian labor laws and Tamil Nadu local HR / labor regulation

Hands-on experience across key HR functions, including recruitment, training, compensation and benefits, payroll coordination, performance management, and employee relation

Strong experience handling factory labor issues, grievance cases, disciplinary actions, employee communication, and workforce stability

Able to manage daily HR operations, support HR strategy implementation, and align local HR practices with group HR policies

Fluent Tamil and English communication ability is required Nice-to-have Qualificati

Experience with factory start-up, workforce ramp-up, mass recruitment, HR system implementation, or manpower planning is a plus

Experience supporting customer audits, social compliance audits, labor compliance reviews, or corrective action follow-up is preferred

Experience in supervisor training, talent development, retention programs, employee engagement, or organization development projects is a plus
