Sales Manager Channel Sales & Dealer Development (Lithium-Ion Batteries)

Location: Maharashtra Extensive Travel Across Maharashtra

Ltd. is a growing player in the energy storage and clean energy sector, delivering advanced Lithium-Ion battery solutions for industrial, commercial, and mobility applications. The company is focused on expanding its dealer and distributor network across Maharashtra to strengthen its market presence and drive sustainable growth.

Role Objective

To develop, manage, and expand the dealer and distributor network for Lithium-Ion battery products across Maharashtra. The role involves identifying new channel partners, strengthening relationships with existing distributors, driving sales through channel networks, and increasing market penetration across key industry segments.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and expand dealer, distributor, and channel partner networks across Maharashtra.
- Appoint new distributors and channel partners in targeted territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, OEMs, inverter manufacturers, battery companies, system integrators, and energy solution providers.
- Drive secondary sales through channel partners and ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct regular distributor visits to review business performance, inventory,



and market opportunities.
- Identify new business opportunities in Lithium-Ion batteries, energy storage systems, inverter applications, telecom, solar, and industrial power backup sectors.
- Plan and execute channel engagement programs, dealer meets, product training sessions, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, supply chain, technical support, and after-sales service requirements.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends within the battery and energy storage industry.
- Ensure channel partner profitability and long-term business growth.
- Prepare sales forecasts, territory plans, and regular MIS reports.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Strong experience in Channel Sales, Dealer Development, and Distributor Management.
- Proven track record of appointing and managing distributors across Maharashtra.
- Good understanding of Lithium-Ion Batteries, Energy Storage Systems (ESS), Solar Batteries, Inverter Batteries, or Industrial Power Solutions.
- Established network within battery companies, inverter manufacturers, solar EPCs, electrical distributors, and energy solution providers.
- Solid negotiation, relationship management, and business development skills.
- Ability to travel extensively across Maharashtra.
