About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Zonal Manager Sales to drive and expand General Insurance business operations across Gujarat. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, regional market understanding, and the ability to manage large field sales teams across multiple territories.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in General Insurance sales, team management, and regional business expansion. The candidate must be comfortable with extensive travel across Gujarat for team management, business development, and market execution

activities.

Regional language proficiency in Gujarati is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage Team Leaders, and field sales teams across Gujarat
- Drive sales performance and ensure achievement of regional business targets and KPIs
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize business growth across assigned territories
- Conduct regular field visits, performance reviews, and sales training sessions
- Monitor team productivity and improve sales efficiency across locations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, clients, and stakeholders
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence across urban and semi-urban areas
- Ensure adherence to company policies, operational processes, and IRDAI compliance standards
- Analyze sales reports,



market trends, and competitor activities to improve business performance
- Coordinate with internal departments for smooth execution of sales operations and customer servicing

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

- Graduate in any discipline
- MBA preferred

Experience

- Minimum 6–9 years of experience in General Insurance Sales
- At least 3–4 years of experience in team handling and field sales management
- Experience managing multiple locations or regional sales operations
- Proven experience in driving sales growth and handling large field teams

Mandatory Requirements

- Proficiency in Gujarati (spoken) is mandatory
- Strong experience in General Insurance Sales
- Must be willing to travel extensively across Gujarat
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams
- Strong understanding of Gujarat insurance markets and distribution networks
- Team handling experience is mandatory
