We are seeking a dynamic and technically competent Technical Sales Engineer to drive business growth for our Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, conducting technical product demonstrations, developing customer relationships, and supporting clients throughout the sales lifecycle.
The role requires a blend of technical expertise, consultative selling skills, and a strong understanding of industrial automation and digital manufacturing technologies.
Key Responsibilities Technical Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across assigned territories.
- Search for prospective clients who can benefit from the company’s products and services.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers by understanding and interpreting their requirements.
- Expand sales territories and maximize client potential within designated regions.
- Attend customer meetings, seminars, conferences, trade exhibitions, and networking events.
Product Demonstration & Technical Consultation
- Deliver effective product demonstrations with the ability to interface with CNC machines and PLC systems.
- Explain technical concepts and product functionalities in a simplified manner for customers.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance, product education, and solution consulting.
- Recommend appropriate solutions based on customer requirements.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong professional relationships with existing customers.
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and agreements to meet both customer and company objectives.
- Prepare customer quotations and manage customer accounts.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely follow-up and support.
After-Sales Support
- Provide technical backup and after-sales support when required.
- Coordinate product training programs for customers and internal teams.
- Assist customers in implementing and optimizing deployed solutions.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to improve products and services.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and business updates.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams regarding customer requirements, technical issues, and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of CNC and PLC programming (mandatory).
- Knowledge of embedded systems and software applications.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
