Job Title: Lead – Procurement (IT Hardware, Software & Licenses)

Extramarks is looking for a high-impact procurement leader who can own, transform, and scale the IT procurement function. This role is not transactional—it demands a strategic operator who can drive cost leadership, build strong OEM partnerships, and bring procurement in line with business growth ambitions. You will be expected to challenge the status quo, unlock efficiencies, and deliver measurable value across hardware, software, and licensing procurement.

What You Will Own

- End-to-End Ownership of IT procurement across hardware, software, SaaS, and enterprise licensing.
- Strategic Sourcing & Cost Leadership: Drive aggressive cost optimization while maintaining quality and speed.
- Vendor Ecosystem Leadership: Build and leverage robust relationships with OEMs, distributors, and system integrators.




- Commercial & Contracting Excellence: Lead high-stake negotiations and close contracts that maximize business value.
- Procurement Transformation: Standardize, automate, and scale procurement processes.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure zero-risk compliance across licensing and audits.
- Business Partnering: Act as a strategic partner to IT, Finance, and leadership teams.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing procurement team.

What We’re Looking For

- 14+ years of deep experience in IT procurement.
- Proven ability to drive large-scale cost savings.
- Strong command over enterprise licensing models.
- Proven success in handling complex negotiations.
- Experience with OEMs and global vendors.
- Strong business acumen.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
