JOB TITLE: Production Merchandiser

FUNCTIONAL AREA: Apparel - Western Wear

REPORTS TO: Category Head

POSITION’S OBJECTIVE: (Brief on position’s objective)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Order Management:
- On time placement and Pre production closures as per D2S timelines
- Closure of final cost post Order placement as per GP Targets & agreed timelines
- Working in tandem with sourcing team and ensure on time delivery in full
- Solving daily production related issues for vendor and sourcing partner
- Ensure timely Sample handover to PPC (post Buy meet) along with tech packs, DP PO creation (within 1 month of order placemen), releasing excel PO’s. and code creation.
- Regular Store visits & competition visits to identify new market trends
- Regular follow ups with adopted Stores to identify & fulfil the Gaps.
- Maintain code sign off.
- Regular update production tracker.
- Range Book Maintenance, Style Bible , Production files and various trackers
- Fabric stock management & Utilization plan:
- Product Performance Review:
- Monthly review of sell thru
- Archiving Original and all Best Seller Samples
- Maintaining Range Room sample

- Vendor Management:




- Help support recent vendors for product escalation and Training of existing producers.
- Maintain productive relationship with vendors (fabric & garment)
- Help PH Product Merchandiser in range closure & development to mitigate production concerns

- Delivery Management
- Coordination for fabric deliveries with CFT.
- T & A management
- Maintaining Weekly status review and escalation of any delays/rejections/shortfall
- Monthly alignment of buys as per OTB
- Real time update of Distribution Tracker
- All pre-production approvals within 24 working hours

JOB SPECIFICATION: (QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE)

- Years of Functional Experience: 5 - 8 years of work experience in Merchandising, Sampling, Product development
- Degree/Diploma: B. Ftech / M. Ftech / BE Textiles / BSc Home Science
