Position Job Title: Head – Investments Department: Investments & Strategic Partnerships Location: Amaravati Reporting To: Joint Director – Incubation / Designated Authority at RTIH, Amaravati Employment Type: Full-Time Contractual role Role Overview The Head – Investments will lead the investment strategy, startup funding initiatives, portfolio management, investor engagement, and capital mobilization activities of RTIH, Amaravati. The role requires identifying high-potential start-ups and innovation-driven enterprises, conducting investment evaluations, managing investment pipelines, and building strategic relationships with investors, venture capital firms, financial institutions, family offices, and ecosystem partners. The position will play a key leadership role in strengthening RTIH’s innovation ecosystem and enabling access to capital for start-ups and emerging ventures.

Key Responsibilities Investment Strategy & Execution • Develop and implement RTIH’s investment and funding strategy aligned with organizational objectives.

- Lead end-to-end investment processes including sourcing, evaluation, due diligence, structuring, negotiations, and execution.




- Identify high-potential start-ups and innovation-led ventures across sectors.
- Build investment theses and sectorial focus areas for strategic investments. Start-up & Portfolio Management • Manage and monitor RTIH’s start up investment portfolio and track performance metrics.
- Support portfolio companies with fundraising readiness, strategic guidance, governance, and growth opportunities.
- Facilitate investor connect programs, demo days, pitch sessions, and funding opportunities.
- Maintain regular portfolio reporting and investment performance reviews. Investor & Ecosystem Relations • Develop relationships with venture capital firms, angel networks, family offices, banks, CSR foundations, and institutional investors.
- Represent RTIH in investment forums, startup events, and industry engagements.
- Build strategic partnerships for co-investment opportunities and innovation financing initiatives.
- Support fundraising and capital mobilization for RTIH-led programs and funds. Financial & Strategic Analysis • Conduct market research, financial analysis, valuation assessments, and risk evaluation of start-ups and investment opportunities.
- Prepare investment notes, investment committee presentations, and strategic reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial, legal, and regulatory frameworks.



Leadership & Governance • Lead and mentor the investments team and related ecosystem programs.
- Contribute to organizational strategy and innovation ecosystem development initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal departments, incubators, accelerators, legal advisors, and external stakeholders. Qualification & Experience • Master’s degree in Finance, MBA, CA, CFA, Economics, or related field from a reputed institution.
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, startup investments, investment banking, innovation ecosystems, or strategic finance.
- Strong understanding of startup ecosystems, venture financing, and investment evaluation frameworks.
- Proven experience in deal sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, and stakeholder management.
- Experience working with incubators, accelerators, innovation hubs, or startup ecosystems will be preferred.
