DJ Baruah Engineers Architects is inviting applications for the position of Graduate Engineer (Civil) at our Jorhat office.

We are a professional architectural and engineering firm based in Jorhat, Assam, working in the fields of architectural design, civil engineering, structural planning, interior design, building permission drawings, and turnkey construction projects . Our project portfolio includes residential buildings, commercial buildings, interior projects, institutional buildings, hotels, resorts, and other architectural works across Assam.

We are looking for a sincere, disciplined, and technically sound Civil Engineering graduate who is willing to learn, take responsibility, and work closely with our design and construction team.

Graduate Engineer (Civil)

Location

DJ Baruah Engineers Architects 2nd Floor, Above Naffy Restaurant, Baruah Chariali, Opposite Westside Shopping Mall, Jorhat, Assam

Eligibility The candidate should have:

- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Basic knowledge of building construction, RCC works, finishing works, and site execution
- Basic understanding of drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and structural details
- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be preferred
- Basic knowledge of estimation, quantity calculation, and BOQ preparation will be an added advantage
- Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team

Job Responsibilities The selected candidate will be involved in:





- Reading and understanding architectural and structural drawings
- Preparing basic quantity calculations and material estimates
- Assisting in site supervision and construction monitoring
- Coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and site workers
- Checking site work as per approved drawings and specifications
- Preparing site reports, measurement sheets, and work progress updates
- Supporting the team in building permission drawings, BOQ preparation, and project documentation
- Maintaining proper technical records and project files
- Learning office standards, construction detailing, and professional project workflow

Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who is:

- Serious about building a career in civil engineering and construction
- Ready to learn both office-based technical work and site execution work
- Punctual, honest, and responsible
- Able to follow instructions and maintain skilled discipline
- Interested in residential, commercial, interior, and turnkey building projects
- Comfortable working in a structured office environment

Experience Freshers can apply. Candidates with 0 to 1 year of experience will be preferred.
