Role Description This is a full-time, in office Educational Counselor role based in South West Delhi.

The Educational

Counselor will provide one-on-one and group counseling to students and parents on academic pathways, college selection, and career options.

Responsibilities include assessing student profiles, explaining admission requirements, recommending suitable colleges and courses, and guiding learners through application timelines and documentation. The role involves maintaining accurate records of interactions, following up with prospective students, and using internal tools and databases to track progress.

The Educational





Counselor will also participate in seminars, workshops, and outreach activities, collaborate with team members to refine counseling processes, and stay informed about changes in curricula, entrance exams, and scholarship opportunities.

Qualifications

- Strong counseling skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to provide unbiased, student-centric guidance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex academic and career options clearly to diverse audiences.
- Solid research and information-gathering abilities to stay updated on colleges, courses, entrance exams, and scholarship opportunities.
- Comfort working with digital tools, CRM or student management systems, and basic productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, presentations).
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple inquiries, maintain records, and meet counseling and reporting timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Career Development, or a related field; a master’s degree or counseling certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in educational counseling, admissions, student services, or a related academic advisory role is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, maintain professional ethics, and support an inclusive, non-discriminatory environment for all learners.
