Core PHP Developer

We are currently seeking a full-time, in office PHP programmer to join our team in Surat, Gujarat. Duties would primarily consist of developing new projects built using PHP-based frameworks/platforms, writing custom code, and architecting new solutions for prospective clients. Applicants will be expected to provide examples of work, if available, and may be asked to complete a coding challenge.

Basic Requirements

- Minimum of 1+ years PHP web development experience
- Expert with PHP object-oriented programming MVC applications
- Competent with SQL-based database concepts
- Familiarity with automated deployment strategies
- Solutions-oriented thinking; always looking for the smart solution to a problem rather than jumping at the first answer
- A preoccupation with staying on top of industry trends and technologies

Proven Skills Technical Requirements

- Expert analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience with a variety of platforms frameworks such as: WordPress, Magento, Core PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter
- Competent knowledge of Linux-based systems administration




- Competent in authoring JavaScript and using libraries such as jQuery
- Competent in web services integrations (REST/SOAP)
- Familiarity with various testing methodologies
- A desire to be personally responsible for production-level code
- Ingenuity to leverage all available tools at your disposal

Bonus Qualifications

- Experience with other languages such as Go, Python, or Ruby
- Experience with a variety of database platforms like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc. is a huge plus
- Experience with caching and scaling techniques
- Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS/LESS
- Experience with Zurb Foundation
- Contributions to the open-source community
