Job Overview:

The Engine Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services for engine systems. This role involves diagnosing engine issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring optimal performance and reliability of engines used in various applications such as automotive, marine, industrial, and power generation.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and Repair:

- Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system inspections.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot engine problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform repairs and overhauls on engine components such as fuel systems, cooling systems, and exhaust systems.

Technical Support:

- Provide technical assistance and support to customers and field service technicians.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to facilitate repairs and maintenance.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures for engine maintenance and repair.

Quality Assurance:





- Ensure all maintenance and repair work meets manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Perform quality checks and testing on repaired engines to confirm proper operation.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

Customer Service:

- Communicate with customers to understand their engine service needs and provide updates on work progress.
