Job Title: Sales Head
Location: Andheri East, Mumbai
Reports to: Management
Role Overview
As the Sales Head, you will be the primary architect of the institute’s growth and market expansion. Moving beyond execution, you will take full accountability for the sales ecosystem, leading our Business Development team to recent heights. You will blend our 35-year legacy in gems and jewelry education with modern, AI-driven methodologies to capture global markets and redefine the student enrollment experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and own the master sales roadmap, setting aggressive yet achievable enrollment targets for Diamond, Gemology, and Jewelry programs.
- Team Mastery: Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performance BDE team. You will be responsible for their professional growth, refining their pitch strategies, and fostering a culture of excellence.
- AI & Tech Integration: Identify and implement AI tools to automate lead nurturing, personalize student outreach, and enhance sales productivity.
- Full-Funnel Accountability: Oversee the entire sales lifecycle, ensuring a seamless transition from high-intent lead generation to final admission and long-term alumni relations.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Rigorously analyze CRM data and conversion metrics to eliminate friction in the sales process and maximize ROI on lead acquisition.
- Executive Reporting: Act as a strategic partner to senior management, providing insightful forecasts, performance audits, and market intelligence.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2–5 years of high-impact experience in Sales or Business Development, with a mandatory track record of leading or supervising a team. We are looking for a dynamic, "next-generation" leader who brings fresh energy and modern perspectives to the role.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- AI Literacy: Proficiency in leveraging Generative AI and advanced CRM features to optimize sales workflows and communications.
- Communication: Elite verbal and written English skills; you should be as comfortable presenting to industry veterans as you are counseling prospective students.
- Industry Context: Previous experience in EdTech or Premium Education is highly preferred.
- Mindset: A strategic thinker who is still willing to "get into the trenches" with the team to close high-value enrollments.
