Job Summary

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing banquet events, conferences, weddings, and corporate functions while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and adherence to The Leela's luxury hospitality standards.

Oversees banquet staff, manages event logistics, and coordinates with culinary, sales, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of banquet and event services.
- Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensure flawless event execution.
- Coordinate with Sales, Kitchen, Stewarding, Housekeeping, and Engineering teams for smooth event operations.
- Supervise banquet setup, service delivery, and event breakdown.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing requests and resolving concerns promptly.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate banquet team members.
- Maintain luxury service standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor labor costs, inventory, equipment usage, and departmental budgets.




- Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event reviews with the team.
- Ensure banquet facilities, furniture, and equipment are properly maintained.
- Support revenue generation through productive resource utilization and upselling opportunities.

Qualifications

- Experience handling weddings, conferences, MICE events, and social functions preferred.
