Job Description – Assistant Professor (Cyber Security)

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Assistant Professor in Cyber Security to join our academic team in Coimbatore. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, guiding students in academic and project activities, and contributing to departmental development and research initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Deliver lectures and practical sessions in Cyber Security and related subjects
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and assessments
- Mentor and guide students in projects, internships, and career development
- Conduct laboratory sessions and support hands-on technical training
- Participate in curriculum development and academic planning
- Engage in research activities, publications, seminars, and workshops
- Support departmental activities, accreditation work, and institutional events




- Maintain academic records and ensure effective student performance evaluation

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in relevant discipline
- M.E./M.Tech in Cyber Security / Computer Science / Information Security or related specialization
- Minimum 2 years of teaching or industry experience preferred

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge in Cyber Security concepts and tools
- Familiarity with Network Security, Ethical Hacking, Cryptography, Cloud Security, and Digital Forensics
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to handle both theory and practical sessions effectively
- Passion for teaching and student mentoring

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
