Key Responsibilities

- Turbine Operation: Start up, shut down, and monitor turbine systems by adjusting controls to regulate speed, pressure, and temperature.
- Monitoring and Inspection: Regularly check instruments and gauges, conduct routine inspections, and respond to alarms to identify and address any malfunctions.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, lubricate equipment, and conduct minor repairs on components to ensure reliability. They also coordinate with maintenance teams for larger overhauls.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, use personal protective equipment, and ensure operations comply with environmental regulations.
- Troubleshooting:



Diagnose and troubleshoot operational problems to identify root causes and take corrective actions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and records of equipment performance, operational parameters, and maintenance activities, and prepare reports.
- Collaboration: Communicate with other plant personnel and systems operators to coordinate activities and ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Proficiency with monitoring and control systems, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina for tasks that may involve heavy lifting and work in potentially straining positions.
- A strong math and science background is generally preferred for these technical roles.
