Role

Teach Engineering Physics and allied subjects to undergraduate engineering students while contributing to research and academic development.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Engineering Physics and Applied Physics courses. Conduct laboratory classes and practical demonstrations. Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessment tools. Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.

Mentor students and provide academic guidance. Participate in research, publications, FDPs, seminars, and workshops. Assist in curriculum development and laboratory management. Support accreditation and quality assurance activities.

Role

Develop students' communication, language, personality development, and employability skills while teaching English and professional communication courses.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct Communicative English, Technical Communication, and Professional Communication courses. Develop students' spoken English, grammar, vocabulary,



writing, and presentation skills. Manage and conduct sessions in the English Language Laboratory (ELL) using language learning software and audio-visual tools.

Design and implement language lab activities to improve listening, speaking, pronunciation, and interpersonal communication skills. Train students in group discussions, public speaking, business communication, and interview techniques. Conduct mock interviews and placement-readiness training programs.

Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and assessment tools. Organize workshops, language enhancement programs, and communication skill development sessions. Evaluate student performance and maintain academic and language lab records.

Mentor students and support employability enhancement initiatives. Participate in research, publications, seminars, workshops, and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs). Assist in accreditation, quality assurance, and departmental activities.

Requirements:

M. A. in English, English Language Teaching (ELT), Applied Linguistics, Communication Studies, or related discipline with First Class. NET/SET qualified; Ph. D. preferred. Minimum 1–5 years of teaching/training experience. Hands-on experience in operating and managing English Language Laboratories (ELL), language learning software, speech analysis tools, and digital language training platforms. Strong knowledge of English phonetics, pronunciation training, communication skills, soft skills, and personality development. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Experience in placement training, employability skills development, and language lab administration will be an added advantage.
