*Responsibilities:*
- Develop and deliver age -appropriate computer science curriculum for primary and secondary levels.
- Plan and conduct interactive, student -centered lessons on topics including basic computer operations, internet safety, programming fundamentals (e.g., Scratch, Python), MS Office, and digital citizenship.
- Maintain and manage school computer labs, ensuring all equipment is functional,
secure, and up to date.
- Monitor student progress, assess performance through assignments, projects, and exams, and provide constructive feedback.
- Integrate technology into classroom teaching across subjects where applicable.
- Organize and supervise computer -related extracurricular activities, coding clubs, or digital competitions.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to align computer education with broader academic goals.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in educational technology and incorporate best practices into teaching.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and safety standards in technology use.
Requirements
*Requirements:*
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Valid B.Ed or D.Ed qualification with specialization in Computer Education or General Education.
- Proven teaching experience (1–5 years) in a school setting, preferably in computer science or IT.
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and basic troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Scratch, Python, or HTML/CSS is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
