We are looking for a builder.
Not a manager. Not a rainmaker who works the room. A builder — someone who sees a blank market, decides it is theirs, and goes to work.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Revenue & Pipeline
- Own the full BD P&L; for Bangalore — pipeline creation, mandate pursuit, and closure
- Set, own, and deliver annual revenue targets. Growth year-on-year is the only acceptable trajectory.
- Identify and convert high-value mandates across corporate fit-out, design & build, campus projects and specialist verticals
Client Relationships
- Build deep, durable relationships with CXOs, Real Estate Heads,
PMCs, IPCs and Architects
- Be the face of SKV in Bangalore — in boardrooms, at industry events, in pre-bid conversations, and post-delivery
- Manage key account strategy end-to-end: first contact through post-project relationship
Market Strategy
- Define and execute SKV’s go-to-market for Bangalore — segments, geographies, partner ecosystems
- Craft proposals and pitches in close collaboration with design and delivery teams
- Build SKV’s brand equity inside the IPC, PMC and architecture consultant community
Team & Org Building
- Hire, mentor and lead a BD team as the market scales
- Establish CRM discipline, pipeline visibility and forecasting rigour
- Drive a seamless pitch-to-project handover with operations and delivery
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The right candidate has done this before. Not adjacent to it — exactly this. They have sat across the table from a Fortune 500 Real Estate Head, understood the brief, built the case, and walked out with a signed mandate. They know the IPC ecosystem. They speak the language of design, delivery timelines, and commercial structures.
If that is not you, this role is not for you.
Non-Negotiables
- 15+ years total experience; at least 10 years in BD or sales leadership in the built workplace
- Proven,
personal track record of acquiring and closing mandates of ₹10 Crore and above
- Deep network across Bangalore: IPCs (JLL, CBRE, Savills, Cushman & Wakefield, Vestian), PMCs, architects, and corporate real estate decision-makers
- Demonstrated P&L; ownership — not just revenue targets, but margin accountability
- Strong commercial acumen: deal structuring, negotiation, and margin protection
Strongly Preferred
- Prior exposure at or as a vendor to major IPCs
- Experience with data centres, corporate campuses, labs, or high-end hospitality fit-out
- MBA or equivalent; Architecture or Engineering background a strong advantage
- Experience building and leading a BD team of 2–5 people
- Familiarity with tendering, cost modelling and procurement strategy

- You are a natural networker. Your phone has the right people in it — and they take your calls.
- You close things. Not conversations — mandates. You are known for taking things to signature.
- You lead with credibility. Clients trust you because you know your domain, not just because you are likeable.
- You are hungry. Comfortable is not a word in your vocabulary. The ceiling is always higher.
- You build teams, not fiefdoms. You share credit, take accountability, and your team performs because you invest in them.
One thing we will tell you plainly: we do not want someone who needs the market to be warm before they can sell. Bangalore is a market we are building. If you need an established pipeline and a warm chair, this is not the right opportunity. If the blank page energises you, we should talk.
