Position: Electrician

Reporting To: Maintenance Manager / Plant Head

Job Purpose:

To ensure smooth operation of plant machinery and electrical systems through preventive maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting, and timely repairs, minimizing production downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in motors, control panels, MCCs, and production equipment.
- Maintain electrical wiring, switchgear, lighting systems, and power distribution networks.
- Monitor and maintain DG sets, air compressors, and utility equipment.
- Perform installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and machinery.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Maintain VFDs, sensors, relays, contactors, and other electrical components.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.
- Record maintenance activities and maintain spare parts inventory.




- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for efficient plant operations.

Qualifications

- ITI Electrician (Mandatory)
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Preferred)
- Valid Electrical License will be an added advantage.

Experience

- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing industries.
- Experience in Manufacturing,PVC, plastics, extrusion, roofing sheets, or related industries preferred.

Required Skills:

- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with motors, panels, starters, MCCs, and control circuits.
- Basic knowledge of PLC and VFD troubleshooting.
- Ability to use electrical testing instruments.
- Valuable problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of industrial safety practices.

Salary: Maximum gross up to 25 K PM based on qualifications and experience.

- Other Requirements:Willingness to work in shifts if required.
- Ability to attend emergency breakdown maintenance.
