Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Textile Consultant (Investment Promotion) based in Chennai. The Textile Consultant will be responsible for advising clients on investment opportunities, developing strategic plans, and providing tailored financial guidance for textile businesses. Daily responsibilities include conducting industry research, evaluating financial strategies, offering customer-focused investment solutions, and supporting clients in their business growth within the textile industry.

Qualifications

- ⁠2-6 years of experience in investment promotion, preferably in textiles or related sectors
- ⁠Degree in Textiles, Management, Economics, Public Policy, or related fields preferred
- Strong skills in presentations, reports, investment briefs, and official documentation




- Positive stakeholder coordination and communication skills
- Coordination wrt GoI related schemes - PM MITRA Parks Scheme, PLI Scheme, National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM), SAMARTH, NHDP, Tex-RAMPS
- Exposure to policy research, investor facilitation, or project coordination
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience of working with both conventional and technical textile
- Prior consulting or advisory experience in the textiles, apparel, or allied manufacturing sectors is strongly preferred
