Role Description This is a contract, hybrid Retail Manager role based in Gwalior, with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks such as reporting, coordination, and planning.

The Retail

Manager will oversee daily store operations across one or more outlets, including staff scheduling, floor management, visual merchandising, and inventory control. The role involves guiding and motivating sales teams, ensuring excellent customer service, handling escalations, and maintaining high standards of store presentation.

Manager will track sales performance, analyze store metrics, and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.



The role also includes coordinating with the manufacturing and design teams on product availability, providing customer feedback, and supporting local marketing or promotional activities.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and internal stakeholders.

- Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to ensure a high-quality in-store experience and handle queries or concerns professionally.

- Team Management skills to lead, coach, and develop retail staff, including performance monitoring and shift planning.

- Proven Sales skills, including upselling, cross-selling, and meeting or exceeding store targets.

- Experience in retail management, preferably in fashion, apparel, or luxury goods.

- Ability to manage inventory, coordinate with back-office and supply teams, and use basic POS or retail management systems.

- Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a customer-centric mindset.

- Comfort working in a hybrid setup in Gwalior, balancing in-store presence with remote administrative work.

- Diploma or degree in Business, Retail Management, Fashion Management, or a related field is an advantage.

- Working knowledge of local languages and English is beneficial for interacting with diverse customers and vendors.
