Roles and Responsibilities of a Math and Science Teacher (1st to 5th Grade)Teaching Responsibilities

- Teach Mathematics and Science subjects according to the school curriculum.
- Explain basic concepts in an easy, creative, and child-friendly manner.
- Develop students’ understanding of numbers, measurements, shapes, nature, plants, animals, environment, and basic scientific concepts.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials for daily classes.
- Conduct interactive classroom activities, experiments, games, and demonstrations.
- Encourage curiosity, observation, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Classroom Management

- Maintain discipline and a positive learning setting in the classroom.
- Ensure active participation of all students during lessons and activities.
- Support slow learners with additional guidance and practice.
- Create a safe, caring, and engaging classroom atmosphere.

Assessment and Evaluation

- Conduct class tests, assignments, projects, and assessments regularly.
- Evaluate students’ academic performance and learning progress.
- Maintain records of attendance, marks, and report cards.




- Provide feedback to students and parents for improvement.

Student Development

- Encourage creativity, teamwork, and independent learning.
- Help students develop confidence in Math and Science subjects.
- Promote critical thinking and practical learning through hands-on activities.
- Identify students’ strengths and areas that need improvement.

Communication and Coordination

- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ progress and behavior.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and school events.
- Coordinate with fellow teachers and school management for academic planning.
- Follow school rules, policies, and academic standards.

Additional Responsibilities

- Prepare worksheets, charts, models, and teaching aids.
- Organize Math and Science activities, exhibitions, and competitions.
- Ensure timely completion of syllabus, homework, and classwork.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of classroom materials and equipment.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
