Job Summary

Supports a facility through management of projects and contracts related to maintenance and improvement of electrical, structural, and mechanical systems. Performs activities under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Manages construction and facility projects including design development, contractors, project pricing, planning, scheduling, ordering and tracking. Initiates communication to consult with electrical, structural, mechanical contract engineers to develop construction projects. Coordinates and manages projects with the site management leaders, including the plant managers. Develops project requirements based on the needs of the facility, including space allocations, infrastructural needs, etc. Ensures that projects and facilities meet state and local building codes. Directs updates to the building drawings as needed. Maintains safe and effective facilities and building systems. Performs problem solving, creative technical and analytical work, budget management and hands-on applications.



Manages own work and maintains a flexible schedule in order to meet the demands of priority work. Directs the work of the facility drafter as needed.
