Reporting To: Office of Shri Y. P. Singh, Chairman, UPSCIDCO and Designated State Minister, Uttar Pradesh

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and politically aware Political Social Media Manager & Content Writer to manage and strengthen the public communication and digital presence of Shri Y. P. Singh, Chairman, UPSCIDCO and Designated State Minister, Uttar Pradesh. The candidate will be responsible for handling all social media platforms, developing political communication strategies, and creating impactful content in both English and Hindi.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in political posting, public narrative building, audience engagement, and digital campaign execution, along with a deep understanding of the Uttar Pradesh political landscape.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and operate all official social media accounts of Shri Y. P. Singh across relevant platforms, including but not limited to X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Develop and execute a structured social media strategy aligned with political positioning, public engagement, and constituency outreach.
- Create high-quality political content in Hindi and English, including:
- Social media posts
- Captions
- Speeches
- Public statements
- Campaign messaging
- Press-oriented digital content

- Draft messaging around governance,



development, public welfare, political outreach, meetings, events, and public appearances.
- Monitor current affairs, political developments, and public sentiment, especially relating to Uttar Pradesh politics, and convert them into timely digital communication.
- Ensure consistency in tone, ideology, and public image across all digital platforms.
- Coordinate with the office team for event coverage, photography, videography, and real-time posting.
- Plan and manage political campaigns, festival greetings, public issue responses, and special communication drives.
- Track performance metrics, engagement trends, follower growth, and audience behavior to improve outreach effectiveness.
- Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely posting of relevant political and public communication material.
- Handle online reputation management and support strategic response drafting where required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in political social media handling and political digital communications.
- Strong command over written Hindi and English with the ability to draft persuasive and polished political content in both languages.




- Good understanding of the Uttar Pradesh political workplace, public issues, voter sensitivities, regional dynamics, and political messaging.
- Experience in managing high-visibility public or political profiles is preferred.
- Strong grasp of platform-specific content strategy, audience targeting, and engagement methods.
- Ability to work closely with leadership and maintain confidentiality, discipline, and political sensitivity.
- Knowledge of graphic coordination, basic content packaging, and political campaign presentation will be an added advantage.
- Candidate should be ideologically aligned with right-of-centre / nationalist political communication frameworks, with the ability to translate that alignment into disciplined and effective messaging.

Preferred Profile

- Prior experience working with a politician, political office, political consultant, campaign team, or public representative.
- Familiarity with political speech tone, governance language, media response drafting, and issue-based communication.
- Ability to react quickly to political developments and produce timely content with minimal supervision.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple communication priorities simultaneously.

Compensation
