OrthoGraft Pvt. Ltd. is a DIPP-certified medical devices startup under the Start-up India program, based at Savli Technology & Business Incubator, Vadodara. The company focuses on developing advanced human tissue substitutes for applications in wound care and orthopaedics, aiming to reduce dependence on autologous tissue and expensive imports. With robust collaborations across government agencies, academia, and leading hospitals, OrthoGraft is currently in the early stages of commercializing its patented, research-driven technologies in regenerative healthcare.

About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to manage both tissue procurement & logistics and research & development activities. This role is critical to ensuring seamless coordination between hospital operations and in-house R&D.; If you enjoy building from scratch, working on meaningful science, and shaping long-term product strategy — this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate tissue procurement with hospitals,



ensuring ethical and regulatory compliance
- Handle screening, storage, and transportation of tissues (cold chain management)
- Build and maintain relationships with hospital stakeholders
- Develop and optimize biomaterial formulations (ceramics, polymers, gels, etc.)
- Perform material characterization, testing, and data analysis
- Support process development and scale-up activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure audit readiness
- Adhere to SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Materials Science
- Hands-on experience in laboratory work, diagnostics, or tissue handling
- Strong analytical thinking, documentation, and coordination abilities
- Willingness to travel for hospital coordination and field activities
- Proficiency in Hindi, Gujarati, and English

Experience:

- Bachelor’s: 3–5 years
- Master’s: 2–4 years preferred
