Role Description This is a full time, on-site Chef De Partie role based in Shivamogga. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes in their assigned section, ensuring consistency with established recipes and standards. Daily tasks include planning mise en place, maintaining portion control, monitoring stock levels, and supporting menu execution during service. The role also involves enforcing strict hygiene and food safety standards, coordinating with kitchen teammates, and assisting in training junior staff.



The Chef De Partie will collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to improve workflows, reduce waste, and deliver a protected and efficient kitchen operation.
Qualifications

Strong culinary skills, including Cooking and Culinary Skills, with experience in a qualified kitchen environment.
Proficiency in Food Preparation, including mise en place, portioning, and plating to consistent quality standards.
Demonstrated knowledge of Hygiene and food safety practices, including cleanliness, cross-contamination prevention, and safe food storage.
Effective Communication skills to coordinate with kitchen and service teams, follow instructions, and support a positive work culture.
Prior experience as a Chef De Partie or Demi Chef De Partie (or equivalent) in hotel, restaurant, or shipboard kitchens is preferred.
Relevant culinary certification, diploma, or formal chef training is an advantage.
