Position: MJPJAY Scheme Coordinator

Location: Khanda Colony

Department: TPA / Insurance / Patient Coordination

Reporting To: Hospital Administrator / Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented MJPJAY Scheme Coordinator to manage and coordinate all activities related to the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana scheme in the hospital. The candidate will be responsible for patient registration, documentation, approvals, coordination with doctors and insurance teams, claim processing, and ensuring smooth execution of scheme-related procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle complete MJPJAY patient registration and documentation process.
- Verify patient eligibility and required documents under the scheme.
- Coordinate with doctors, reception, billing, and IPD departments for smooth patient processing.
- Submit pre-authorization requests and follow up for approvals.
- Maintain records of all scheme patients, approvals, and claims.
- Ensure timely claim submission and settlement coordination.
- Guide patients and relatives regarding scheme benefits and procedures.
- Coordinate with government officials, TPAs, and insurance representatives when required.




- Ensure compliance with hospital and government guidelines related to MJPJAY.
- Prepare daily/monthly reports related to scheme utilization and claim status.
- Resolve patient and claim-related queries efficiently.

Required Skills:

- Good communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of MJPJAY processes and hospital documentation
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, email, hospital software)
- Attention to detail and record management
- Ability to handle patients professionally and empathetically
- Strong follow-up and multitasking abilities

Qualification:

- Graduate in any field
- Experience in hospital insurance/TPA/MJPJAY coordination preferred
- Fresher with valuable communication skills can also apply

Experience:

- 1–3 years preferred in hospital coordination, insurance desk, or MJPJAY handling

Salary:

As per industry standards and experience.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Experience working in hospitals or healthcare setup
- Understanding of government healthcare schemes
- Ability to work under pressure and manage patient flow efficiently

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
