Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the MGS positioning narrative for Mizuho Group stakeholders, including value proposition, growth story, strategic priorities, capability themes and leadership messages.
- Prepare high-quality internal and external communication material such as leadership notes, event briefs, MGS story decks, townhall scripts, newsletters, intranet content, Linked In content drafts and executive talking points.
- Own employer brand and employee value proposition communication in partnership with HR / HRD, including career stories, employee experience themes, onboarding messaging, learning / certification campaigns, recognition stories and culture-building content.
- Coordinate and maintain Mizuho brand governance guidelines, including usage of approved logos, email signatures, Linked In guidance, content standards, photography rules, compliance checks and approved messaging templates.
- Act as the central coordinator for MGS Communication Site content governance by collecting updates from functions, maintaining content calendars, ensuring timely publication and improving visibility of announcements, events, policies, learning initiatives and employee stories.
- Manage external engagement with industry bodies and forums such as NASSCOM, GCC communities, BFSI networks, awards platforms, university / community partners and relevant business forums.
- Identify speaking opportunities, roundtables, awards, benchmarking studies, research participation and leadership representation opportunities for MGS management and functional leaders.
- Support community relationship initiatives, CSR communication support, external visits, leadership offsites, site showcase material and stakeholder-ready briefing packs.
- Track communication and brand effectiveness through simple metrics such as content calendar adherence, event participation, employee engagement feedback, employer-branding platform improvements, industry forum participation and leadership visibility.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to convert complex business information into crisp, executive-ready narratives.
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders and synthesize inputs across functions.
- Strong presentation and content design capability, including Power Point storyboarding, newsletter / intranet writing and campaign planning.
- Understanding of employer value proposition, talent branding, employee engagement, social media governance and professional networking platforms.
- Good judgment around confidentiality, compliance, brand tone and approval discipline, especially in a financial services / banking setting.
- Ability to manage external relationships with industry forums, communities, associations, event organizers and benchmarking partners.
- Ability to work with marketing vendors and allied stakeholders as required
Preferred Experience
- 6–10 years of experience in strategic communications, corporate affairs, employer branding, internal communications, marketing, PR, HR communications, consulting, or GCC / BFSI stakeholder engagement.
- Prior experience supporting leadership communication, executive presentations, brand campaigns, employee communication platforms or industry forum participation
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Share Point, Power Point, Teams, Linked In content practices, intranet governance and basic analytics will be an advantage
- Experience in corporate communications, internal communications, employer branding, marketing communication, public relations, brand management, or stakeholder engagement.
