Purpose of the RoleThe Maintenance Manager is responsible for:

- Ensuring all manufacturing equipment, utilities, and infrastructure are available and reliable.
- Minimizing downtime and improving plant productivity.
- Leading CAPEX (capital expenditure) projects.
- Managing safety, statutory compliance, and environmental initiatives.

Key Responsibilities1. Maintenance & Reliability
- Ensure plant machinery and utilities are always operational.
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Manage spare parts and vendor contracts.

2. CAPEX Management
- Design and specify equipment and infrastructure improvements.
- Prepare engineering assessments and cost-benefit analyses.




- Manage procurement, installation, commissioning, and contractors.
- Deliver projects within budget and timeline.

3. Cost Management
- Manage annual maintenance budgets.
- Control repair and maintenance expenses.
- Drive productivity, energy savings, and cost reduction initiatives.

4. Safety, Health & Setting (SHE)
- Lead plant safety programs and compliance activities.
- Support audits and maintain statutory records.
- Drive environmental sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

5. Team Leadership
- Lead maintenance supervisors, technicians, and contractors.
- Coach and develop team members.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, Finance, and HR.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering preferred.
- 8–10 years of maintenance experience in Food, FMCG, Pharma, or process industries.
- Experience with:
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
- Utilities Management
- CAPEX Projects
- SAP or ERP systems
