We are committed to delivering top-tier maintenance, breakdown support, and engineering solutions for Kirloskar diesel engines and silent generator sets. We are expanding our team and looking for a skilled, safety-conscious Diesel Mechanic to join our Sangli operations.

Position Summary

- Role: Diesel Generator Mechanic (Field/Workshop Service Technician)
- Location: Sangli, Maharashtra (and surrounding service areas)
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Experience Required: 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience with diesel engines or industrial generator sets (Kirloskar engine experience is a robust advantage).

Key Responsibilities

- Maintenance & Service: Perform routine preventative maintenance (A, B, C, and D checks) on industrial diesel engines and generator sets.
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical and minor electrical faults in engines, fuel systems, and control panels.
- Overhauling & Repairs: Carry out top overhauling and major overhauling of engines, replacing worn or damaged parts (pistons, rings, bearings, injectors, etc.) to OEM standards.
- Breakdown Support: Respond promptly to customer emergency breakdown calls in the Sangli region to minimize equipment downtime.
- Testing & Commissioning: Conduct load trials and performance testing after major repairs or installations.
- Reporting:



Maintain accurate records of service reports, parts used, and customer feedback.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to workplace safety standards, including proper tool usage and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols during maintenance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Motor Mechanic Vehicle (MMV), or Diesel Mechanic trade.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of diesel engine mechanics, fuel injection systems, cooling systems, and turbochargers.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of engine failures.
- Locality & Travel: Willingness to travel to client sites around the Sangli area. A valid two-wheeler driving license and personal vehicle are preferred.
- Communication: Ability to interact professionally with industrial, commercial, and residential clients.
